Description:

Just what is needed for the dancer’s overworked and sometimes imbalanced body, this 4-week series caters to the self-care needs of dancers’ bodies. Participants will walk away from the series with clear tools for using a foam roller and tennis ball to treat their regular problem areas while bringing dancers closer to an understanding of anatomy and their own body’s unique self-care needs. Participants need to own a foam roller, two tennis balls, and a knee-high or tube sock. Angie Simmons is a certified massage therapist with 15 years experience in bodywork and more than 25 years in somatic-centered dance.
